Sometimes all you can do is all you can do.

Yesterday was a drop dead gorgeous day. So I threw Lulu into the car, grabbed her leash, and headed down the hill to the lake. Even though my brace is actually an enormous help with my knee, still I was stiff and sore when I got up and the best I could do was to slowly stroll through the park with Lulu. Eventually I gave up on the idea of a walk; and we sat on a picnic table and watched the lake and the people and the boats.
