It is a decade long tradition: the holiday season is kicked off by the annual Julia and her friend Betty Gingerbread house day. What fun. I make the bare house, and Betty decorates it while we sip mochas. And after congratulating ourselves on creating yet another perfect confection, we head out for lunch. What a great day.
