From the Mountains to the Prairies

I will try over the next week or so not to blog endlessly about our vacation......but it will be hard. This will not be one of those non-vacation posts.

Buying a monopod for my camera turned out to be a very very good idea. John took this iPhone picture of me using said monopod.

Here is the picture that I was taking. Mine is much better.

As we made our way east in what seemed to be a very short time, the landscape abruptly changed from rugged and mountainous to this:

Wow. Now THAT'S what I call "big sky".

I am loving your vacation road trip photos!!!!!
Keep 'em coming!!!! I have been in Glacie... and Waterton the Canadian side. Lovely country!
I remember the goats too. You are doing a most excellent photo capture. Thank you! I love photography and since I cannot vacation right now it's like a photo staycation.

I'm loving all your photos, Julia, and no, not all mountains look alike! Nature is so grand that it makes one feel like a little particle of air compared to all the vastness. Truly beautiful.

Just found your blog. Waiting on a blood test to confirm the disease, I decided to see how others dealt with it. I live in Montana, do you or was the trip to Glacier from another starting point? I find the dry air here exacerbates my mouth and windpipe dryness. Now my hubby understands why I'm much better at the beach! Bookmarking so I can read more.

I love, love, love your photos! Beautiful and artistic. Oh, and I too love goats. I just discovered that this year while visiting my first petting zoo. They are soooo sweet! Glad you are feeling well and enjoying your trip!
