Guys. Y'all are so good to me.
Thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts. I appreciate them all. The rituximab infusion went fairly smoothly. I was premedicated with oral tylenol, then IV benadryl, then IV steroids. Lots of 'em.
Then when I was loopy as could be, they started the rituximab. Very slowly at first and then increased the rate of the infusion every half hour or so, depending on how well I tolerated it.
I was there from 9AM until 3:30PM or so. I do feel the after effects: I feel unbelievably tired and heavy, everything tastes like metal, a bit queasy, and have a pounding headache.
Heading back to bed, but again -- thank you. Your support means more to me than you can know.

Your post brought tears to my eyes - almost - i just 'infuse' now the tears are gone, you are so brave. Wishing you well and hope the food tastes good tomorrow.
