WEGO post prompt day fifteen: Tell a story in two sentences.
"Oh, wife," he exclaimed as he gave her an embrace, "though you're tired and achey I will always love your face; I care not that your cheeks have become rosy and round, that the dust on the table now weighs about a pound; and though I do miss your spectacular pie, I find joy in your smile and the twinkle in your eye; all those years ago that we said I DO, well that means honey, I will always cherish you!"
Yup. That's one of my fave wedding pics, a zillion years ago.

Julia, what a beautiful away with words. You hear of so many relationships/marriages that break up due to chronic illness. It's understandable, as there is so much strain put on the couple, not only on the one who is sick, but the able one who is stuck with all responsibilities, not to mention the financial nightmare. The burden is too overwhelming, and sadly the relationship can't survive.
P.S. Is that picture of the lovely young couple that of you and your husband?
thanks, Annie. Yes, that's us. I meant to add a tag about that, thanks for reminding me!
Funny and very sweet too. Glad you have someone in your corner for the fight!
