Today I'm heading back to the Midwest. My mom had a stroke yesterday, and although she seems to be stabilizing with minimal involvement, I simply have to see her. To talk to her. To laugh with her. To just BE with her.
I'll keep ya'll posted as I am able.

Julia, I'm so sorry about your Mom. I can sympathise, as we are going through some very serious health concerns with my Dad. I hope she continues to pull through, and hope your Dad will be okay,also. You're in my thoughts and prayers at this time.
