Yesterday, my friend Sarah and I took a leisurely tour of our local zoo. It was an absolutely fabulous day. I gave Sarah permission to walk at least ten paces ahead of her middle-aged, floppy hat - wearing, doofus companion, but she was brave and strolled right alongside me. What a gal.

I just have to tell you- your blog is absolutely wonderful and really helps me get through the nonsense of autoimmune diseases. And these photos just totally made my day (especially the elephants- they are my favorite!) Thank you for letting other autoimmune folks into your world, it really really makes a difference to know it isn't just me.
