We all know that it's good to eat a healthy diet that includes fruits and veggies and nuts. But here's the results of yet another study confirming their benefits. Conducted by the University of Illinois and due to be published in the May 2010 issue of Brain, Behavior, and Immunity, the study found that by consuming moderate amounts of soluble fiber such as can be found in fruits, nuts, and oats, it is possible to raise the anti-inflammatory protein interleukin-4.
Good news for those of us with conditions that cause body-wide inflammation.
